• What is conveyancing?

  Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring ownership of a property from one person to another. It covers everything from checking a property’s title, drafting contracts and raising enquiries, to exchanging contracts and completing your purchase, sale, or remortgage.

• How long does conveyancing take?

  Conveyancing can vary depending on your property and circumstances, but as a general guide. Freehold transactions typically take 8-10 weeks, while leaseholds can take a little longer at 10 to 12 weeks.

  Things like mortgage arrangements, search results, and chain complexity can all affect how long things take. What we can promise is that we’ll keep you updated throughout, so you’re never left wondering where things stand.

• Which lenders are you on panel with?

  We're on the panel with over 80 lenders, including all the major mortgage providers across England and Wales. So, whether you're using a high street bank, a building society, or a specialist lender, we’ve got you covered.

• Where are you located?

  Our head office is based in Bristol, and we have a North West hub in Manchester, but we can act on properties anywhere across England and Wales. Our team is located all over the country, so wherever you are, we can help.

• When should I instruct a conveyancer?

  If you're buying, we'd recommend instructing a conveyancer as soon as your offer has been accepted, so we can get the ball rolling straight away and avoid any unnecessary delays.

  If you're selling, you can instruct even earlier, as soon as your property goes on the market.
